What are the selection criteria for becoming a KEMI intern?

Interns are selected by application to the program and are chosen by a Selection Committee.  The Committee evaluates each applicant on the basis of previous experiences in the equine industry, academic accomplishments (a collegiate Grade Point Average of 2.0 or better) and personal character references.
